Our community matters

As an independent small business, Lester Campbell are committed to helping our local Leeds and Yorkshire communities to thrive. Our team have worked in Leeds and its surrounding towns for many years and, thanks to the amazing people, it’s a fantastic place for many to both live and work. We want to give back by supporting local charities who are focused on delivering positive changes and projects within our local communities.

Our 2026 charity of the year: Life Experience!

In 2026, we will continue to support Life Experience for our sixth year running. Life Experience is a fantastic community interest company who are on a mission to change the course of young people’s lives throughout Yorkshire. Life Experience was founded by Phil Pearce and is ran entirely by volunteers delivering choices and consequences through their own lived experiences.

Throughout 2026 we will donate £10 from every new instruction to Life Experience and host a number of fundraising initiatives for our clients, friends, family and partners to support too. Join us as we raise awareness of their amazing work in our local communities and help us to fund more valuable projects that can positively impact young people.

Following on from fantastic events in 2024 and 2025, Lester Campbell are proud to be a Silver Sponsor once again at this year’s Pat’s Party Summer Music Festival in Ben Rhydding near Ilkley.This year's Pat's Party is on Saturday 27th June and is set to be another fantastic even!

Described as a ‘Mini Glastonbury’ with live bands all day, guests at Pat's Party (including Jade, Jess, and Lucy in our team!) enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of live music, children’s entertainment, zip wire, BBQ, Indian food, beer tent and children’s games. Tickets are £10 for adults, £3 for 12-18 year olds and free for children aged 11 and younger. In 2025, we raised over £10,500 for Life Experience!  

For every new instruction in 2025 Lester Campbell donated £10 to our charity of the year: Life Experience. In total, we’ve donated £10,540 in 2025! This fantastic charity creatively tackles anti-social behaviour, knife crime, bullying, substance abuse and much more by collaborating with schools, police, and key local groups. They inspire and engage their audiences through spoken word and acting workshops, small business start-up programmes, and by honestly sharing their personal lived experiences from darker times in their past to where they are now – making a difference!

Our donation will help cover their rental costs and fund a variety of community projects aimed at young adults across Yorkshire to creatively tackle anti-social behaviour, knife crime, bullying, substance abuse and much more by collaborating with schools, police, and key local groups.

We raised over £8,100 to support Life Experience in 2024!

As a result of our fee donations we are proud to have raised £8,100 in 2024 for local Leeds charity and our charity of the year: Life Experience.

We raised £11,145 to support Life Experience in 2023 

As a result of our fee donations and fundraising events we are proud to have raised over £11,000 in 2023 for local Leeds charity and our charity of the year: Life Experience.

• Throughout 2023 we donated £10 from every new instruction to Life Experience and our total donation amount to the end of the year was over £9,524!
• In October 2023, our fearless Partner Jade Campbell embarked on her own fundraising mission and stepped into a boxing ring for the first time as a White Collar Fighter. Jade raised over £1,600 for Life Experience - a huge thank you to everybody who showed their support and donated!

We raised £9,630 to support Life Experience in 2022 

As a result of our fee donations and fundraising events we are proud to have raised £9,630 in 2022 for local Leeds charity and our charity of the year: Life Experience.

• Throughout 2022 we donated £10 from every new instruction to Life Experience and our total donation amount to the end of the year was over £8,500!
• In July 2022, our team completed the Tough Mudder Yorkshire challenge and raised over £1,000 for Life Experience - a huge thank you to everybody who showed their support and donated!

For every new instruction in 2021 Lester Campbell donated £10 to our charity of the year: Life Experience. In total, we’ve donated £8,310 to this fantastic local charity, our crucial financial support covered their rental costs and helped them to deliver many positive changes and projects in our local community.
